Payment and insurance
We are an out-of-network practice and do not participate with any insurance plans. We provide superbills so that clients may seek reimbursement from their insurer.
- InsuranceOut-of-network
We are not in-network with any insurance company. Payment is due at the time of service, and we provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer.
- FeesDiscussed during your consultation
Fees vary by service. We will review costs for your recommended treatment during the free phone consultation, before anything is scheduled.
Using out-of-network benefits
Many plans reimburse a portion of the cost of out-of-network care. Coverage varies, so we recommend contacting your insurer before your first appointment.
You pay for each session at the time of service.
We provide a superbill with the diagnostic and service codes your insurer requires.
You submit the superbill to your insurer, who reimburses you directly according to your plan.
Questions to ask your insurer
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health care?
- What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much has been met?
- What percentage of the cost is reimbursed once the deductible is met?
- Is pre-authorization required?
- How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
Cancellation policy
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed, may be charged.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give clients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including related costs such as tests or evaluations. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
